About Mr. Kim Holman

Kim Holman brings over three decades of leadership experience in firefighting and petrochemical safety. His entrepreneurial journey includes founding and successfully scaling multiple companies, including Canstar International, Ace Security Laminates, and Dalmatian Fire Equipment. After selling Dalmatian Fire Equipment in 2007, he served as Canadian Operations Manager for Total Safety, one of the world’s largest safety companies.

In 2012, Holman acquired SCBA Sales & Rentals with a clear vision: delivering premium-quality breathing apparatus and personal protective equipment at accessible prices, particularly to resource-constrained fire departments. Under his leadership, the company has expanded dramatically, serving diverse sectors including environmental services, petrochemical operations, mining, offshore drilling, airport fire brigades, international military installations, marine operations, hazardous materials response teams, and government agencies.

Holman’s commitment to public safety extends beyond business. He co-founded two impactful nonprofits—Helping Our Own and Fire Aid USA—providing over $30 million in firefighting equipment to underfunded departments across North and Latin America. This philanthropic spirit continues through SCBA Sales & Rentals, which has donated more than $10 million in breathing apparatus and related equipment to fire departments worldwide since 2012.

His academic background combines International Business and Marketing studies from the North American Institute of Technology with Psychology and Sociology coursework at King’s University, both in Edmonton, Alberta. This multidisciplinary education informs his holistic approach to leadership and service in the safety industry.
